I am appalled! At what? The lack of a properly multicultural attitude on the part of Egyptian youths who stormed the U.S. Embassy yesterday to shred the American flag.
Where is their devotion to diversity? Their warm embrace of multiculturalism?
Their open-minded acceptance of contrary opinions?
These loutish fanatics were angry at some unidentified movie, apparently American, that they feel disses their glorious prophet Muhammad. The hooligans were waving their own banner, the black flag normally associated with Islamic terrorism.
And what was the U.S. Embassy’s response?
Sympathy and understanding.
It totally understands the actions of the invaders and “condemns the continuing efforts of misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.”
That is correct. The U.S. Embassy voiced sympathy with this attack and the tearing down of the American flag. Your president at work, boys and girls.
