The Odd Pot

Then and now

Teddy once took a would-be assassin’s bullet in the chest during a speech. He finished the speech before getting medical help.

Wearing his nancy helmet, Barry once rode a bicycle two times all the way around the White House without falling off and skinning his knees. (Don’t miss this or this.)

        1. To each his own, but for me, I loathe the man and consider that he’s earned any disrespect thrown at him. When has he ever shown an ounce of respect for this great country? In fact, his self-stated modus operandi was to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.” And he has most certainly done so — not in a good way.

  1. Given how much I know about your love for Obama, I think you’ve developed a positively Mexican attitude toward bikes.

Much of the first world these days thinks they’re pretty cool. We’re also not so keen on killing elephants any more either.

    1. Kim: Be sure and check out the link Becky provided in her comment. Really puts your boy Barry in perspective.

For non-Spanish speakers, desvelado means basically that you stayed up too late, usually because of partying, and are groggy and miserable the following day.

If you’re over 50, it is far less fun than when you were 25.

    1. Ms. Shoes: I have read that book. Great and interesting book. I too wish Teddy were president today. Almost anybody would be better than Barry. Teddy, for example, would twist Putin into knots.
