Art

IN THE EARLY 1990s, I painted art furniture that was sold in galleries in Houston, Texas. This is just part of the work.

Birdhouses, painted inside and out.

Long, thin table.

I made and painted lots of birdhouses.

Small box with wicker lid, woven by me.

Chair and table, the only pieces done in Mexico.

  1. Very nice work, colorful but not overwhelming. I particularly like the bed. For some reason, it reminds me of some Frank Lloyd Wright’s little details. Thanks.

    1. Carola: Many thanks. As you may know, I am a former Houstonian, 15-plus years there. And thanks for the comment, which I found in the Trash file for some reason. I resurrected it. First comments are supposed to go to moderation, not the trash. My apologies.

Feel free to weigh in again on the main website. Smart folks are always appreciated.
