Inundation of irony

I HAVE LONG preached that promoting multiculturalism is a recipe for mayhem. Examples of this age-old truth are in plain view all over the world and have been since the dawn of mankind.

We ignore it at our peril.

People are tribal. There are many tribes. One of the main ones is the nation-state. Other tribes are that of religion, language and culture. These tribes often overlap. We prefer the company of people like ourselves.

Foggy-headed leftists fight this truth as they dream of one world, no borders, and sing Kumbaya. Oh, Lord, Kumbaya. Everyone will live in harmony.

Though they never, ever have.

Above you see Mexicans in Tijuana who are unhappy, to put it mildly, at the invasion of Central Americans. They want them to beat feet back where they came from. I pray you see the knee-deep irony.

I just finished a fascinating book that relates to this topic. Its title is Enoch Was Right: “Rivers of Blood” 50 Years On. That would be the brilliant British parliamentarian Enoch Powell who famously delivered a speech on April 20, 1968, in which he eloquently warned of the danger of uncontrolled immigration from nations that are drastically different from Great Britain.

The Establishment reviled him. Today, dangerous, ethnic ghettos abound in Great Britain full of folks maintaining the ways of their tribes back in Syria, Kenya, Sudan, etc., and Brits are arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned for complaining about it in public.

Let us pause now for another verse of Kumbaya.

Or perhaps not.

In praise of window locks and border walls

NATIONS NEED border walls because a nation is a family, and families are good things, so nations are good things too, the concept.

Nations, like regular family units, are groups of people connected by race, religion, history, language and culture. Some families are dysfunctional, and some nations are dysfunctional. Those latter are the ones President Trump allegedly labeled “shitholes.”

A bit harsh but correct in some cases.

The dysfunctional families and nations are dysfunctional not so much due to race but to a troubled culture, religion and history. Some cultures are superior to others, sometimes far superior. How do you grade a culture, giving it an A-plus, a C or an F?

Its grade depends on the lifestyle it provides its people. Thus, Haiti gets an F, Bolivia gets a D and Canada, Australia and New Zealand get an A. Due to the problem the United States created for itself centuries ago with the slavery thing and now its blowback, it gets a B on average though some states get an A (Texas), and others get a C-minus (California).

If you’ve got a well-functioning nation (or family), which depends, as we have already established, on race, religion, language, history and culture, you must exercise caution when people from other nations (or families) want to move into the house with you.

Sweden had an A-plus culture for a long time. They were a homogeneous people with a common culture, language, etc. Sweden then decided it would be a swell idea to open its borders to hordes of people from the Middle East, no questions asked.

Sweden is now known as the “Rape Capital of Europe.” This should come as no surprise when you consider they invited into their midst a staggeringly different culture, one that suppresses women and embraces an extremist, macho religion.

Sweden shot itself in the head with an AR-15. In the name of multiculturalism.

If you’ve got a successful nation (or family), caution is in order before unlocking the door to your neighbors. That’s why border walls — and locks on your home windows — are very wise things. When Trump said he would build a wall, he also said it would have a “big beautiful door” for the deserving to enter. That latter part is seldom mentioned.

Mexico is very insulted by Trump’s border wall idea. How dare he? And yet millions of Mexicans have entered the United States illegally, so many that the culture in some parts of the United States seems more like Mexico than the United States.

And to add the proverbial insult to injury, Mexico lets Central Americans enter through its southern border, hoists them atop that famous train where they jump off near the Rio Bravo to swim, hike, tunnel and fence-climb into the United States.

How dare Trump suggest a wall? The man has such gall.

The United States already has many miles of border wall, but it needs lots more and even higher. Maybe a moat with gators. But Mexico needs a wall down south too. Sweden needed one, but it seems too late now. Sweden is a goner. R.I.P.

All nations need border walls if they want to maintain their integrity, and if the nation is a very successful one (great culture), the need for a wall grows exponentially.

(Note: It is common knowledge that Jews and Asians are smarter than the rest of us. Do the Asian nations or Israel leave their doors wide open in the name of multiculturalism and diversity? Not on your life, Bub, proving their high IQ.)

Walls are wise

I’M A FAN OF border walls as long as they are walls to keep people out, not to keep people in, which is like a prison wall.

Do you lock your house doors at night? Sure you do. You don’t want strangers sneaking in while you snooze.

There are already many miles of walls along the southern border of the United States, so Trump’s vow to build a wall was, to a great extent, pure campaign blather.

All nations need to control their borders, and the more successful nations are in particular need of walls. The United States has been very successful, so it definitely needs walls.

Mexico is successful too in comparison with nations to its south, so a high wall along our border with Central America is very advisable. Alas, we have not built that wall.

Some people say walls don’t work, which is silly. After Israel built a wall to  keep out wily Palestinians, the mayhem that Palestinians so love plummeted. Walls work.

The video illustrates beautifully how a nice, high wall along a particularly enticing stretch of the California-Mexico border reduced crime and other problems immensely.

San Diego’s wall works wonders.

Walls are sweet. Around your house. Around your nation.

Good Aussie sense

THE AUSSIES are admirable. They enforce their borders, as all intelligent nations do. Get caught in Mexico without permission, and you’ll be booted out unceremoniously. Well, unless you’re part of the mobs of Central Americans just passing through on their way to the Rio Bravo.

That amuses us. Don’t jump off the roof of the train though.

I do not support multiculturalism or diversity as a national policy because it leads to grief and mayhem. A quick glance at the United States or borderless Europe these days offers proof positive of that. Devotion to diversity is, of course, a part of politically correct nuttiness.

The Aussies realize that Australia is for Australians. You can move to Australia, but you must do it legally, and I imagine Australia wants you to learn English, assimilate, get a job, and doff your chador.

And say “mate” a lot.

Nations that work best are mono-cultural, mono-lingual, mono-religious, and citizens sport the same skin tone. Commonalities are the building blocks of a nation, the sine qua non.
