Grading The Donald

HERE’S HOW I see Trump’s work so far:

  1. Healthcare reform. Grade of D.  Going along with Paul Ryan’s dusting off his crappy, old proposal was a rookie move. Back to the drawing board, Don. Jeez.
  2. Muslim Brotherhood. Grade of F.  Going wishy-washy on the terrorist designation is ridiculous and dangerous. I mean, really. They’re Mohammedans.
  3. Pipelines. Grade of A+.  Opening the Dakota and Keystone pipelines is great. Jobs. Energy. What’s not to like?
  4. Israel. Grade of A+.  Supporting the sole democracy in the Middle East, a place where women walk free, unmasked and heavily armed is the proverbial no-brainer, just the opposite of Weepy Barry’s abominable stance.
  5. Supreme Court. Grade of A+.  Nomination of Neil Gorsuch is excellent. May other nominations be of equal caliber.
  6. Terrorist nations. Grade of A.  Beefing up security regarding visitors from known terror nations is common sense. That hippie judges are blocking it is absurd.
  7. Border wall. Grade of A.  He’ll get an A+ when the wall is complete. All nations should protect their borders.
  8. Federal regulations. Grade of A+.  Trump has ordered that for every new federal regulation, two existing ones must be eliminated. It’s difficult to praise this too much.
  9. Hiring freeze. Grade of A+.  Trump has put a freeze on hiring new civilian federal employees. There are some exceptions. This will slow governmental bloat.
  10. Blocking Hillary. Grade of double-A+.  Keeping the Clintons from returning to the White House may be Trump’s greatest accomplishment of all.

Bonus grade

11. Shock value. Triple-A-Plus.  The Trump presidency has leftists in a state of perpetual horror. You can hardly put a high enough value on that. We’ve never seen their favored epithets of racist and sexist regurgitated so frequently.

Fun times!

Waffles & snowflakes

waffles

WE’RE A HEALTH-conscious couple, and we watch what we eat. It’s partly why we are so slim and beautiful.

Although we love waffles, we rarely eat them because they are not healthy. However, special occasions call for celebration, and we decided Wednesday morning to breakfast on waffles, a Trump fiesta with Canadian maple syrup.

However, just as my child bride was about to turn on the blender and waffle iron, the electricity went out, and it stayed out for an hour due to work in the street.

So we ate the usual cereal, but with a grin. At least I was grinning. My lovely companion still is uncertain about Trump, being Mexican and listening to Mexican news sources, which are just as left-wing as CNN and MSNBC.

There is no Mexican version of Fox or Breitbart.

However, she’s as conservative as I am, and she knows that I always know best, so she’s coming around, slowly.

Mexico has focused entirely on Trump’s border wall and his sometimes ill-phrased statements about Mexicans.

They know nothing about other U.S. issues like tax cuts, veterans’ matters,  federal debt, entitlements, BLM, Islamic terrorism, Mohammedan “refugees,” safe spaces,  PC lunacy, Common Core, joblessness and so on.

Alas, to Mexicans, it’s all about them and their God-given right to sneak across the border whenever they feel like it.

Our waffle extravaganza was delayed one day, but not canceled. We waffled our hearts out yesterday instead.

Like election night, it was very tasty.

01_snowflake_1Left-wing snowflakes are in a state of hysteria and meltdown. Here are some hilarious examples:

  1. A guy named Jerry Kang, who is UCLA’s vice chancellor for “equity, diversity and inclusion,” held an event last night to process the shocking election results.
  2. At Cornell University, a “cry-in” was held on the Quad. “I’m quite terrified, honestly,” one snowflake opined.
  3. Thousands of poor losers blocked the entrance to Trump Tower in Chicago. They said they are against fascism, racism and war. Where this stuff is breaking out in the wake of the election is not clear.
  4. Snowflake high school students and teachers, about 1,500 of them,  staged a walkout Wednesday in California to protest Trump’s fair-and-square election victory. They’re just not gonna take it, you hear?
  5. In New York, thousands of leftists took to the streets howling obscenities about Trump’s victory, “rape culture,” racism and all that silly razzmatazz.

I remember the day following the shocking (to conservatives) re-election in 2012 of Weepy Barry.

We were gobsmacked!

But did we stage cry-ins? Did we block entrances to buildings? Did Republican ghetto-dwellers riot in the streets, as happened in Oakland after the Trump victory?

Of course not. We just hoped for a better day.

And here it is!

Yea for Islamophobia!

islam
The true War on Women.

IS ISLAMOPHOBIA bad? Not at all. But it’s not the preferred term due to phobia’s definition as an irrational fear.

And trepidation in the face of this so-called religion — a beast philosophy — is quite a rational response.

The photo shows a young Indonesian woman who broke the Mohammedan rule against being alone in a room with a man to whom she was not married.

Just being in the room. That’s all.  Gadzooks!

She is a lucky one. She only received a public lashing instead of stoning to death or the ever-popular beheading.

Or being drowned in a cage. Or being thrown off a cliff. Or being hanged from a construction crane. Or being burned alive.

You can read the details here. It’s important to publicize this stuff in order to spread “Islamophobia” far and wide.

These are the people President Barry embraced in 2009 as he kicked off his term with the infamous Apology Tour.

Perhaps you voted for him. Not once, but twice.

Gadzooks! Bet you’re red-faced now.

Amazon punto com

Amazon-logoCAPITALIST BEHEMOTH Amazon.com opened its Mexican operation just a few weeks ago, and I have received my first order, a camera and two avocado holders.

I am very happy about Amazon coming to Mexico. It’s about time. They went to China first: Amazon 点,圆点 com. Damnable.

The Amazon Mexico website looks like the Gringo version except for being written in Spanish and having prices in pesos, which is how it should be.

My primary interest in Amazon is for my Kindle. I’ve purchased books from the Gringo Amazon for years, seamlessly and effortlessly.

I checked the Mexican version and pleasantly discovered over a million books available in English. It appears to be about the same pile available on the Gringo version. There is one glitch that will keep me from switching entirely to the Mexican website. No magazine subscriptions.

I salute Jeff Bezos and welcome him to Mexico, a country that improves daily. We have superhighways, snazzy shopping malls, low taxes, a growing economy, liberty, and our citizens are not at one another’s throats screaming racism, homophobia, sexism, till our burros wander home.

We do not care a hoot about being multicultural or diverse.

Quite the contrary.

And we carry voter ID cards, laminated with our mugshots because we don’t want anybody to vote who’s not a genuine Mexican.

And now we have Amazon. We’ve totally arrived.

(Unrelated matter: Please go here and lend a hand. I did. It will improve your karma. It all got started because she was trying to rescue a hummingbird.)
