There’s much to ponder

I was thinking; If Leftists don’t believe in biological gender then why do they march for women’s rights?

I was thinking; If women do the same job for less money, why do companies hire men to do the same job for more money?

I was thinking; Since only 11 million people have ObamaCare, how will 24 million people die if it is repealed? Will an additional 13 million people be randomly shot?

I was thinking; We should stop calling them all “Entitlements.” Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, ad nausea, are not Entitlements. They are taxpayer-funded handouts and shouldn’t be called Entitlements at all. But Social Security and Veterans Benefits are Entitlements because the people receiving them are entitled to them. They were earned and paid for by the recipients.

01515-thinking-cap-ideas-vectorI was thinking; If you rob a bank in a Sanctuary City, is it illegal, or is it just an Undocumented Withdrawal?

I was thinking; After the London “Lone Wolf” terrorist attack, government officials arrested at least eight other “Lone Wolves” who had conspired with the original “Lone Wolf” in planning the “Lone Wolf” attack.

Why do they tell us even though all involved are Mohammedans, you can be assured that the “Lone Wolf” attack has nothing at all to do with Islam, just like the other 1,000-plus “Lone Wolf” attacks by Mohammedans, are completely unassociated with Islam?

I was thinking; Why is each ISIS attack now a reaction to Trump policies, but all ISIS attacks during Obama’s term were due to Climate Change and a plea for jobs?

I was thinking; If Mohammedans want to run away from a Mohammedan country, does that mean they are Islamophobic?

I was thinking; If Democrats don’t want foreigners involved in our elections, why do they think it’s all right for illegals to vote?

I was thinking; Is the DNC is mad at Russia because it “thinks” they are trying to manipulate our elections, or because Russia is exposing that the DNC is manipulating our elections?

I was thinking; How did the Russians get Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC to steal the Primary from Bernie Sanders? How did Russia get Donna Brazile to leak debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance of the debates?

I was thinking; Why is it that Democrats think Super Delegates are fine, but they have a problem with the Electoral College?

I was thinking; If Donald Trump deleted all of his emails, wiped his server with Bleachbit and destroyed all of his phones with a hammer, would the Mainstream Media suddenly lose all interest in the story and declare him innocent?

I was thinking; If Hillary’s speeches cost $250,000 an hour, how come no one shows up to her free speeches?

I was thinking; If you don’t want the FBI involved in elections, don’t nominate someone who’s being investigated by the FBI.

(Note: I did not write the above. I found it in the comment section of an online news website. It was left by someone who uses the moniker Brokemexifornia. But he says he did not write it either. Someone emailed it to him. So it’s anonymous.

(The only significant editing I did was to change Muslim to my preferred term, Mohammedan, and to change Liberal to Leftist. I use Mohammedan because it galls PC people, and I use Leftist instead of Liberal because it’s accurate.

(The sole bone I have to pick with the piece is the common claim that Social Security payments are simply the return of money paid into the account by the recipient during his working life. This is true for some people. Those who live a long time after retirement and/or retired early like me, often are getting handouts in their latter years, i.e. welfare.)

Confessions of a right-wing welfare king

I LIVE OFF welfare. I don’t deny it. It’s called Social Security.

Lots of folks argue that they’re just getting back the money they paid into the system over their working life. They don’t like to think they’re living on the dole.

While it was true for many years after the Social Security system started in 1935, when life spans were shorter, that you were just getting your money back, it’s far less so these days when life spans are longer.

Many, possibly most, recipients now get back what they paid into it, and after that they become welfare recipients. It’s a federal handout, not all that different from food stamps and Aid to Dependent Children Old People.

I don’t feel guilty in the slightest. If Uncle Sam had not promised me this decades ago, I would have made other plans. I might not even be living in Mexico.

I might be a greeter at Walmart in Houston.

Social Security recipients who live outside the United States are sent a snail-mail letter every year that we must fill out and return by November. I receive mine almost always in late June. I return it by registered mail which gives me a tracking number that works on both sides of the border.

I’ve been doing this for 11 years now.* The letter has always arrived, and my return letter has always been delivered. The Mexican mail system works well.

I sent the form on its way north just this morning from the post office downtown. My welfare greenbacks arrive at BBVA Bancomer on the 3rd of each month. As it sails over the Rio Bravo it magically morphs from dollars to pesos.

Mexican pesos are “real money” to me.

My monthly amount this year is $1,617 U.S., a 2 percent increase over last year. That’s the princely annual sum of $19,404. Some years we get an increase, some years not. It never decreases. I also get a small corporate pension. Living in the United States on this would be a colossal challenge, but not down here.

Down here I live like a Welfare King.

The fifth horseman

A FIFTH HORSEMAN of the Apocalypse now rides through Western Europe, the United States and Canada, the historically white man’s civilized world of liberal democracy.

And freedom.

It is the Horseman of Lunacy, a new boy on the block.

And the other four horsemen are just behind him.

Felipe for prez!

MOUNTAINTOP IN MEXICO — (AP) The bizarre presidential race in the United States was thrown into further turmoil today when Felipe Zapata tossed his sombrero into the mess.

Himself

Felipe, a controversial blogger — you either love him or loathe him — is, like Ted Cruz, a dual national. But, unlike Cruz, Felipe — who prefers to be called by one name à la Cher or Prince — will not trash his foreign passport.

He sees multiculturalism as a campaign plus.

The shocking announcement was made outside Felipe’s huge, colorful Hacienda in a hardscrabble neighborhood on the edge of a mystery village in the middle of Mexico.

The international press was missing, as was the Mexican, and the audience of four were Felipe’s family members who were eating burritos and drinking Coca-Cola.

Felipe’s brisk platform consists of six planks:

  1. The Mexican problem: This will be solved by building a 20-foot-high wall along America’s southern border. The U.S. will pay for it, not Mexico. Ten yards behind the wall will be an alligator-filled moat and machine-gun nests.
  2. The drug problem: This will be solved by canceling the ridiculous War on Drugs.  Getting stoned will be legal for adults. This will also help the Mexican problem.
  3. The economic problem: The Internal Revenue Service will be dissolved, and a 10 percent flat tax will be levied on all earnings, both business and personal. This will increase government income, plus the economy will boom.
  4. The welfare problem: All government handouts will cease with one exception: People who are demonstrably disabled and/or over the age of 65.
  5. The university problem: Safe spaces will be outlawed. Anyone found in a safe space or even asking for the location of one will be executed and buried in an undisclosed location where they will be safe till the end of time.
  6. The Mohammedan problem: U.S. mosques will be bulldozed, and Mohammedan men will lose their scimitars and be sent to slave camps. Mohammedan women’s heads and legs will be uncovered.  A blue-ribbon panel from the Jonesboro Baptist Church will decide what to do about the Middle East, with the exception of Israel, of course.

Felipe will run — and win — as an Independent. Campaign contributions should be send to his PayPal account, which will be up and running lickety-split.

His child bride will be America’s first Mexican First Lady.

His campaign slogan: Make America Legally Mexican And, Oh Yeah, Great Again.
